Wicked Big Day In Boston
This line was on the front page of ESPN today:
"Boston fans are some of the most demanding around. Well, they couldn't ask for much more today in Beantown, where Red Sox-Yanks (ESPN) and the Boston Marathon (ESPN2, 11:30) provide the warm-up for Game 7, Bruins-Canadiens.
Yes, we are some of the most demanding, so here is my short list of demands.
a. An ARod oh-for-series
b. Pedro’s fastball to return
c. A non-Kenyan winner in the Marathon
d. Another year of Johnny Kelley finishing the race
e. Deny Ty Law his bail and leave him in the slammer to think about his contract demands
f. A quality RB in the draft
g. Another Canadien faking an injury
h. A shutout for Razor
i. A real coach for the Celtics
j. At least one win over the Pacers
That is all I demand. This is not unreasonable I think. If I see these things I promise I won't gripe like a typical Boston fan. Well, at least not for a while.
