NBA Draft - Let The Fun Begin

My favorite time of the year is even more fun now that my team ISN'T participating. Here are my initial thoughts on the draft (more to follow you can be sure):

Looking over the talent pool in this years draft, I'm yawning. I like Jay Will, Butler, Stick Dunlevy, and I'll give a nod to the "upside" of Ming Dynasty. Beyond that, I think some solid role players could be found later in the draft like Dan Dickau, Kareem Rush, Juan Dixon, and Tayshaun Prince. Its no coincidence that all these guys played big minutes in college. My gut tells me that only one or two foriegn players will hit and the rest will miss.

While ESPN's coverage will be stellar as usual (particularly Andy Katz), I still don't see much need to sign up for the ESPN Insider. I might give the 30 day free trial a swing, but not until 30 days before draft day. Till then, if you must get all the dirt, here are some excellent resources:

Other than that, you might check out some of the fans' banter in a message board like Fanhome.com - Rumors & Draft Board
